一：英國國際貿易專業介紹
國際經濟與貿易專業屬于經濟學學科范疇，主要以經濟學理論為依托，包括微觀經濟學、宏觀經濟學、國際經濟學、計量經濟學、世界經濟學概論、政治經濟學等。但是在學習這些經濟學之前，要掌握相應的基礎知識，比如，會計學原理、統計學、財政學、貨幣銀行學、經濟法、國際商法、證券投資、財務管理、管理學原理等課程。在學習完上述課程之后，就要接觸到國際貿易最核心的知識了，就是國際貿易各個方面的專業知識，即：國際貿易理論、國際金融、國際貿易結算、外貿英語函電、外貿口語、外貿寫作、外貿談判技巧、國際經濟合作、跨國公司理論與實務等，當然最重要的課程為 ??國際貿易實務，也稱作進出口貿易實務，或對外貿易實務。
二：英國國際貿易專業特點
國際貨物貿易屬商品交換范圍，與國內貿易在性質上并無不同，但由于它是在不同國家或地區間進行的，所以與國內貿易相比具有以下特點：
1.國際貨物貿易要涉及不同國家或地區在政策措施、法律體系方面可能存在的差異和沖突，以及語言文化、社會習俗等方面帶來的差異，所涉及的問題遠比國內貿易復雜。
2.國際貨物貿易的交易數量和金額一般較大，運輸距離較遠，履行時間較長，因此交易雙方承擔的風險遠比國內貿易要大。
3.國際貨物貿易容易受到交易雙方所在國家的政治、經濟變動、雙邊關系及國際局勢變化等條件的影響。
4.國際貨物貿易除了交易雙方外，還需涉及到運輸、保險、銀行、商檢、海關等部門的協作、配合，過程較國內貿易要復雜得多。
三：英國國際貿易專業就業前景
國際貿易專業的畢業生可以到政府對外貿易經濟管理部門從事外貿管理工作 ,到外貿企業從事對外貿易業務及國際市場的營銷工作,到國家機關、國民經濟綜合部門、商業部門或企業從事貿易經濟、市場營銷、經營管理工作,到各大高等院校、科研單位從事教學及科研工作等。
